Introducing McKinley Zuri

Wow... That's what I have to say right now. I knew bringing McKinley home was going to take some adjustments, but I really wasn't expecting how it would affect the family mainly Ava. I have been lucky that John was able to take 5 weeks off and enjoy this time of adjustment with me. If I had to do it alone I think it would have taken years off my life.

Ava loves her little sister so much, she loves to hold her and kiss her, she has been super gentle for the most part. I  think they will grow up to be great friends.

Ava on the other hand has had some issues adjusting to not having all the attention. She has gotten very demanding, and emotional over everything. We are constantly reminding her to talk politely and use her words instead of whining about it. I really do have to be thankful for the little things such as how gentile and loving she is with McKinley. Things are leveling out now, but next week will be a whole new adventure with John going back to work. Ava has gotten VERY use to Papa's attention every moment of the day.

I just keep reminding myself that everything is a phase, soon this will be gone and I will miss it.

I am truly lucky to have such a beautiful healthy family!

First days at home, Ava loves holding McKinley!

Shout out to Marcie again for great pictures!! I love them!!

You have a beautiful family and I am so happy that John has been able to share these five weeks with you. I am blessed that you have such a great man to stand by your side and live this life with. I am proud that you set your goals high and your fight for your dreams and the life that you want for your future. I could not be blessed more then I am with four amazing children. Always offering an open ear and a true voice to any issue at hand. Not always words we like to hear LOL but blunt and to the point is how it is best heard. I love you tons Roo Love your Momo
